The DAFGE project combines learning German with the topic of healthy and sustainable nutrition.
It supports migrants in learning German while also gaining knowledge about healthy nutrition.
The aim is for participants to receive information about healthy nutrition while learning German. They should understand why healthy eating is important and be motivated to take good care of their diet. In this way, the project aims to help more people eat healthily.
The project therefore combines two goals: promoting language skills and providing health-related knowledge.
For this purpose, practical teaching and learning material for learners of German as a second language on the topic of "healthy and sustainable nutrition" are being developed. They cover all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). The material offers a wide range of exercises that can be used online or offline.
The content is developed together with migrants, teachers and nutrition experts and takes migrant living realities into account.
Through a network of potential dissemination partners, the material will be made publicly available and offered free of charge.
Topics:
- Healthy and sustainable nutrition for adults and children
Target group and settings:
- Adult German learners (levels A1 to B1) with different educational backgrounds.
- The material can be used by language course providers as well as by self-learners.
